Educación para la Salud

En este trimestre que está finalizando, desde la sección Bilingüe hemos querido también participar en el grupo de trabajo sobre salud en el que participa el CRA. En el aula de 3º y 4º de Aldeanueva del Camino hicimos unos carteles de diferentes colores para anunciar los beneficios de la fruta y de las dietas saludables...

In this period that is ending, from the Bilingual section we also wanted to participate in the working group about healthy life, in which CRA Via de la Plata is participating. In Aldeanueva del Camino, in the 3rd and 4th class  we have made posters with different colours to announce the benefits of fruit and healthy diets ...

Por otra parte, en Valdelamatanza, en el aula de 4º, hemos hecho un repaso a una dieta saludable, aprendiendo todas las partes de las que se compone, los distintos tipos de alimentos que existen y completando una rueda con una dieta equilibrada, que luego hemos colocado en un gran mural, participando todos en ella.

  

On the other hand, in Valdelamatanza, in the 4th grade classroom, we have reviewed a healthy diet, learning all the parts of which it is composed, the different types of food and completing a wheel with a balanced diet, which then we have placed in a big poster.

USA Project

Un año más está llegando a su fin, y con él se cierra este primer trimestre de curso. Desde la Sección Bilingüe del CRA Via de la Plata queremos recordar a todo el mundo que en este curso estamos trabajando por proyectos, estudiando a fondo los más importantes países de habla inglesa. Durante este período nos hemos acercado a Estados Unidos ya que consideramos muy importante su estudio y conocimiento. 

One more year is ending, and with it closes the first quarter of the year. From the Bilingual Section of the CRA Via de la Plata we want to remind everyone that in this year we are working on projects, studying in depth the most important English-speaking countries. During this period we have approached the United States since we consider its study and knowledge very important.

Para ello hemos decidido trabajar en las distintas localidades por grupos, llevando a cabo un gran trabajo final que será expuesto al resto del Centro. En Aldeanueva del Camino, el grupo de 1º y 2º, ha estado descubriendo el vocabulario más importante relacionado con el país, relacionado con diferentes aspectos, como los deportes, las comidas, los monumentos y con algunos de sus más importantes simbolos. Algunos de ellos han quedado reflejados en un gran mural que se está construyendo.

We have decided to work in the different villages by groups, carrying out a great final project that will be exposed to the rest of the School. In Aldeanueva del Camino, the group of 1st and 2nd, has been discovering the most important vocabulary about the country, related to different aspects, such as sports, meals, monuments and some of its most important symbols. Some of them have been reflected in a big mural that is being built.

En el grupo de 3º y 4º el objetivo principal es hacer una pequeña presentación sobre EEUU, repasando todos los aspectos más importantes del país, añadiendo fotos y pequeños comentarios en inglés, que después deben exponer al resto de la clase. Buena forma de combinar el idioma con las TICs. Además colaboran con un mapa grande del país que nos permitirá conocer los estados y sus capitales.

For the group of 3rd and 4th, the main objective is to make a small power-point presentation about USA, reviewing all the most important aspects of the country, adding photos and small comments in English, which they must then expose to the rest of the class. Good way to combine english language with ICTs. They also collaborate with a big map of the country that will allow us to know the states and their capitals.

El grupo de 5º y 6º tiene también como principal objetivo, hacer una presentación sobre EEUU, un poco mayor, adaptada a su conocimientos y utilizando todas las destrezas que hemos aprendido sobre esta aplicación. Utilizarán fotografias, datos y detalles sobre los aspectos más relevantes del país,  formarán frases relacionadas con ellas y al final deberán también exponerlas al resto del aula. Además también colaboran con un gran mapa-puzzle de goma eva en diferentes colores, para dar a conocer los estados y su capitales y que quede de forma permanente en el Centro para posteriores cursos.

The group of 5th and 6th also has as main objective, to make a power-point presentation about USA, a bit bigger, adapted to their knowledge and using all the skills that we have learned about this application. They will use photographs, data and details about the most relevant aspects of the country, they will form sentences related to them and at the end they will also have to expose them to the rest of the classroom. In addition they also collaborate with a big goma-eva puzzle map in different colors, to show the states and their capitals and to remain permanently at the School for further courses.

En Valdelamatanza, sólo tenemos un aula de 3º y 4º, en la que estamos haciendo nuestro proyecto, combinando diferentes actividades. La más importante es una presentación sobre EEUU, añadiendo fotografiás y pequeños comentarios, y utilizando las técnicas aprendidas mediante la aplicación. También están haciendo un gran mapa-puzzle de goma eva con diferentes colores para conocer los estados y sus capitales y que pueda ser utilizado en cursos posteriores.

In Valdelamatanza, we only have a 3rd and 4th class, in which we are doing our project, combining different activities. The most important is a power-point presentation about  USA, adding photographs and small comments, and using the skills learned through the application. They are also making a big goma eva puzzle map with different colors to know the states and their capitals and that can be used in next courses.

St. Patrick's Day

El pasado 17 de marzo era el dia de San Patricio, y por este motivo recibimos la visita del Gran Leprechaun, que nos tenía preparadas muchas sorpresas, juegos, actividades, y una gran gymkana.

Last March 17th was St. Patrick's Day, and for this reason we had the visit of the Great Leprechaun, who had many surprises, games, activities and a great gymkana.

Durante los días previos, Caitlin, Diego y los demás maestros, nos fueron contando todos los secretos sobre esta celebración. Nos enseñaron sus costumbres, sus desfiles y sus diferentes actividades. Aprendimos todo el vocabulario y algunos secretos más.

During the previous days, Caitlin, Diego and the other teachers, were telling us all the secrets about this celebration. They taught us their customs, their parades and their different activities. We learned all the vocabulary and some more secrets ..

 

 

 

 

 

  En Aldeanueva del Camino, el Leprechaun visitó primero a los niños de Educación Infantil, junto a los de 1º y 2º de Educación Primaria, escucharon un cuento con la ayuda de Caitlin y recibieron instrucciones para salir al patio a la búsqueda del tesoro, pequeños calderos con monedas de oro. Fue muy divertido, todos participaron y encontraron muchos tesoros.

 

 

In Aldeanueva del Camino, the Leprechaun first visited the children of Infant Education, together with the 1st and 2nd year of Primary Education. They listened to a story with the help of Caitlin and received instructions to go out to the playground to search for treasure, small pots of gold coins. It was great fun, everyone participated and found many treasures.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Tras un merecido descanso el Leprechaun dio comienzo a la gran Gymkana en honor a St. Patrick's Day. El resto de niños del cole formaron en cuatros grupos de distintos colores y pasaron todo tipo de divertidas pruebas en tres escenarios diferentes: El patio, el aula de Inglés y el gimnasio. Pasamos una mañana muy divertida y el resultado final fue lo de menos, porque todo el mundo al final obtuvo su pot of gold

 

 

 

After the break,  the Leprechaun started the great Gymkana for St. Patrick's Day. The rest of the school's children formed in four groups of different colors and passed all kinds of fun tests in three different places: the playground, the English classroom and the gym. We had a very fun morning and the final result was the least important because everyone at the end got their pot of gold

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Al día siguiente, en Valdelamatanza, el Leprechaun visitó a los niños del cole, donde les contó pequeñas historias y les habló de la fiesta tradicional irlandesa. Después de esto, también les tenía preparada una gran gymkana, aunque allí sólo se pudieron hacer dos equipos al ser menos alumnos. Fue una mañana muy divertida, donde aprendimos mucho y lo pasamos estupendamente con un montón de actividades y juegos tradicionales

 

 

 

 

The next day, in Valdelamatanza, the Leprechaun visited the school's children, where he told them little stories and told them about the traditional Irish party. After this, they also had prepared a big gymkana, although there could only be two teams to be less students in the school. It was a funny morning, where we learned a lot and had a great time with lots of traditional activities and games
