St. Patrick's Day

 El pasado 17 de Marzo hemos festejado St. Patrick's Day con diferentes actividades en las localidades del CRA. Ha sido un día muy interesante donde hemos aprendido todo lo relacionado con el santo patrón, hemos indagado en los cuentos y leyendas típicos y nos hemos familiarizado con el vocabulario y con todo lo referente a Irlanda y sus personajes más tradicionales.

On March 17th we celebrated St. Patrick's Day with different activities in the CRA locations. It has been a very interesting day where we have learned everything related to the Patron Saint, we have investigated the typical tales and legends and we have become familiar with the vocabulary and with everything related to Ireland and its more traditional characters.

Tuvimos un día intenso, donde nos disfrazamos con los típicos colores, preparamos mucho material para decorar las aulas y los pasillos. Después escuchamos una leyenda que nos contó el Leprechaun y nos preparamos para el gran desafío y la búsqueda del tesoro, que nos tenían los profes preparados. Por último, bailamos y cantamos canciones tradicionales irlandesas  y terminamos haciendo unas bonitas manualidades. 

We had an intense day, where we dressed up with the typical colors, we had a lot of material to decorate the classrooms and hallways. Then we heard a legend that the Leprechaun told us and we prepared ourselves for the Great Challenge and the Treasure Hunt, which the teachers had prepared for us. Lastly, we danced and sang traditional Irish songs and ended up doing some nice crafts.

Ha sido un día muy interesante, donde hemos aprendido muchísimas cosas sobre Irlanda y sobre sus tradiciones. Una vez más hemos aprendido y a la vez nos hemos divertido. Esperamos tener más actividades próximamente.

It has been a very interesting day, where we have learned a lot about Ireland and its traditions. Once again we have learned and at the same time we have had fun. We wish to have more activities soon.
