St. Patrick's Day
On March 17th, St. Patrick's Day, patron saint of Ireland, visited us a funny Leprechaun, who was coming from distant lands to Aldeanueva del Camino.
Our English teachers had announced his visit, and we had told many secrets of the Leprechauns and everything related with them.
First of all, he walks through the village, then at the school, he told us a story together with Abby, and he explained many things about this celebration
Then, the music teacher, Enrique, plays a song with a whistle flute, typical of Ireland, accompanied by Maribel with a guitar.
Finally, all together went out to the playground, in search of treasure, our "Pot of Gold ". We rode whole playground and found many gifts and gold coins, with chocolate flavor.
It was a very funny day, where we learned a lot and we were very well .

El
pasado 17 de Marzo, dia de St. Patrick, patrón de Irlanda, nos visitó
un simpático Leprechaun, venido de tierras lejanas hasta Aldeanueva del Camino.
Nuestros
maestros de inglés, ya nos habían anunciado su visita, y nos habían
contado muchos secretos de los Leprechauns y todo lo relacionado con
ellos.
Primero
paseó por el pueblo, luego en el colegio, nos contó un cuento junto a
Abby, y nos explicó muchas más cosas sobre esta fiesta.
Después,
el maestro de música, Enrique, nos tocó una canción con una flauta
whistle, típica de Irlanda, acompañado a la guitarra por la maestra Maribel.
Por
último, salimos todos al patio, en busca del tesoro, nuestro "Pot of Gold". Recorrimos todo el patio y encontramos muchos regalos y monedas
de oro, con sabor a chocolate.
Fue una jornada muy divertida, donde aprendimos mucho y lo pasamos muy bien.
